CANADA 150 DAYIn this picture, I captured one of the students playing road hockey. I also liked how the background of the picture is a bit of blurred out. I decided to take the picture of him looking at the game and being a supportive teammate. In this picture, I brighten up the whites and added more colour by using saturation. I also added more contracts. To brighten the picture, I used a bit of exposure.

I captured this photo from a distance but I decided to crop most of the background to focus more on the relationship between the two. I decided to post this on my site because I really enjoyed the way they were looking at each other smiling and having an amazing expernice overall. I also liked how the illusion of the fence looked. I used saturation to brighten up the reds in the picture. I thought it would've gave a better depth in the picture if I darken the boarder. I also brighten up the whites.
In this picture I wanted to capture the Canadian flag blowing in the wind, I really liked how it turned out because you can see all the different textures in the flag. I turned up the saturation so the red in the Canadian flag could stand out. I tried to darken up the background so that the only thing standing out is the student holding the flag.

THANKSGIVING
This is a photo of my family and I, and I wanted to use this for the theme of thanksgiving because this is what Im thankful the most. I decided to change the filter in the photo, turned up the saturation and darkened up the shadows.
|
In this photo I decided to arrange pumpkins in the background to give that Halloween vibe. This screams "thanksgiving" because I am thankful for my little cousin, and its very aesthetic with all the colours and the fall decorations. For the editing portion I lowered the brightness to give the picture a bit more depth and so the highlights in the picture could stand out. Last but not least, I added some grain in the photo, just to give an "old" photo affect.

SHADOWS
In this photo I took a picture of roses
|
In this photo I wanted to capture the shadows of the tree and myself with my friend. The day this photo was taking it was a bit windy so the leaves on the tree were blowing around. For editing I made the photo black and white but I darkened the shadow of my friend and I to make us stick out more.
|
In this picture I wanted to capture the shadows of the bikes, so I decided to stand on an angle to capture every dimension. I like how all the bikes are stacked together and how you can see multiple shadows . In the picture I wanted to darken up the shadows so they could stand out more, I also turned up the saturation so all the colours could be more vibrant.

AUTUMN
In this picture I decided to capture a giraffe eating leaves from the trees, I like how all the colours in the picture coordinate. This screams autumn because of all the different colour leaves falling. As in for editing, I brighten up the picture, turned up the saturation and used a little of structure and clarity to give that in depth look.
|
In this picture, I positioned my cousin in front of flowers and blurred the background so she was the main focus in the picture. I wanted to capture all the different colours and I also wanted to have the same theme colour with all my pictures. I also liked how the flowers brighten up the picture and also pop out a bit.
|
I really like how there are many different colours in this picture, and how well they suit each other. I decided to capture this photo to resemble autumn because you can see the colour of the leaves changing, and I also enjoyed how you could see the texture of the water. I decided to darken up the photo and turn up the clarity to give a better definition in the photo.
